MEET STARSHIP

BASIC INFO
Starship is Space X's answer to interplanetary exploration and colonization. Currently in development, Space X is attempting to do what has never been done before. Starship and it's booster (Superheavy) will be the largest fully reusable rocket ever created. It will also be the largest object to fly and leave Earth. The massive size of Starship will allow for the largest payload and interior space to reach orbit. This capability creates unique opportunities for interior habitation space for lunar and Martian pioneers.
As of now, this interior space of Starship is all conceptual. It is one thing to make a rocket fly, it is another to support human life while flying. Before humans retake the steps on the moon and leap to Mars, a life in space has to be designed. The interior architecture, design, programming, and routines will all have to be created and tested.

PASSION PROJECT
As a student of Environmental Products of Design, I understand the important link between an environment an the human. Nature, people, ideas, objects, and architecture are all elements of an environment that influence humans as an individuals and as a collective. Interplanetary colonization will require all types of designers and engineers to create an environment that supports interplanetary pioneers and their needs. I passionately want to contribute to humanities next leap. This project is my initial contribution to my passion and will serve as my first step to my goals and dreams for life beyond.
PROJECT: HAB 1
HAB 1 is the exploration, ideation, and design of Starship's interior living space. I invite you to explore my initial ideations of what life in space within Starship could be.
