WHAT IS POINT NEMO?
Inspiration
Point Nemo is the furthest most point to human civilization. Officially known as The Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility, this Island is1000 miles away from any large land mass and has the fewest amount of humans in proximity. Due to the vast distance to anywhere relevant, this remote point located in the Southern Pacific is visited by very few humans. Only those who are driven for adventure and exploration make the journey.
Point Nemo: Mission
Point Nemo is viscously dedicated on pursuing a future of prosperity. To be prosperous, we must innovate with purpose. This coalition is focused on developing products, businesses, and systems that enable a fully sustainable future on and off Earth with a goal of interplanetary colonization.
The Point Nemo Coalition
Point Nemo is a coalition of humans who are pursuing a future in space. This coalition is dedicated on developing a self-sustaining society beyond planet Earth. In this pursuit of interstellar habitation, a focus on the Earth is paramount. The Point Nemo coalition recognizes that the goal for space is ultimately the goal of a sustainable future on Earth. Innovative ideas and technologies must be developed for the initial stages of a society beyond. As we develop energy, waste, water, and air systems for a colony off Earth, we are also shaping a new, prospourous, path here.
